My research explores the relationship between individual embodied perception, architecture and physical environmental forces. At the intersection of these fields, I investigate how architecture can respond more precisely to both, the environments we inhabit and the ways we experience them.

Physical environmental forces include temperature, wind, light, sound, humidity, water, pressure and weather. I am particularly interested in natural environments because their conditions change autonomously rather than being fully authored by humans. Architecture can respond to, filter and modify these forces, but it cannot completely determine their behaviour.

I am interested in how architecture filters, modifies or excludes environmental forces—and how these decisions shape both physical conditions and the ways they are perceived.

Embodied perception considers how an individual senses, feels and responds to the conditions around them. I am interested in the body not only as something architecture protects, but as the means through which temperature, light, sound and movement are experienced—and through which environmental conditions can influence comfort, attention, awareness and emotional state.
